The Glory Birth midwives provide pap smears in a kind and compassionate setting. While getting a well-woman exam in a clinic can be very off-putting for some people, we use our warm and comfortable office space for a low-invasive pap smear. It’s quick, usually painless, and you will have the results within a week or so. We do not offer pap smears during pregnancy, you must be at least 6 weeks postpartum. It’s recommended that those who are monogamous get them done every 5 years. Otherwise every 3 years. The entire visit will be a $175 cash payment or $150 if your insurance covers the lab testing. Glory Birth now offers in-house SneakPeek testing! We use the most trusted brand and method to find out your baby’s gender as early as 6 weeks from conception. Venipuncture is proven to be a better source for testing and getting a more accurate look at fetal sex than many other machines. Come to our office and get tested today! Sneakpeek’s gender test is not included in the midwifery package, please call for pricing.
While it might not be classic for every practice, this is OUR classic. We will see you in the office for your 1st prenatal appointment around 12 weeks, then we come to you and do the 2nd prenatal in your home. After that, the rest will be office visits until you’re 37 weeks and we do another home visit to plan for the baby’s arrival. Then you’re back in the office until you have the baby. After that we don’t have you come to us until 6 weeks, we will come to see you so you can stay, rest, heal, and snuggle that sweet baby. We also include two lactation visits with one of our lactation consultants, one in person and one via zoom, to make sure you feel totally secure and covered in your feeding journey. This package includes all routine labs, your birth kit, and tub rental. You will just need to pay for your ultrasound and gather some supplies from around your home. Ask about our discounts!
With our deluxe package, we are giving you the chance to relax as much as humanly possible. Our midwives will travel to you so you will never even have to leave your home for your appointments. Besides the consult and ultrasound, we will do all appointments in the comfort and safety of your home unless you have a non-routine need that we cannot quickly get to you, you can stay home. This also includes all routine labs, birth kits, and tub rental. We will also perform a milk bath photoshoot at your 6-week postpartum if desired…you will have to pump the milk, that’s one thing we can’t do for you 🙂
